WINTER PARKING OPENS OCTOBER 15th

Uintalands Winter Rules for Trailers and Trailer Parking

Snowmobile trailer parking in the winter parking areas will be open beginning October 15th. The Caretaker will have parking areas marked with spray paint and signs. Travel/Camp trailers are not allowed in the Winter Parking area and must be removed from all lots in Uintalands by November 1st.

Winter parking has been very crowded the past few years. If you have a storage trailer that will not be used for winter recreation, please do not bring it to winter parking. Storage trailers are allowed to remain on your lot during the winter, camping and travel trailers are not allowed and must be removed from all Uintalands lots by November 1st. If you don’t know if your storage trailer can handle the snow load, be sure to clean it off during the winter, or take it home for the winter.

Please note the following

· Please review the attached PDF showing where to park this winter.

· Trailers parked in winter parking areas prior to October 15th will be cited and may be towed or fined.

· No travel/camp trailers are allowed in winter parking areas and will be towed.

· All trailers parked in winter parking must have Lot numbers attached. Violators will be cited.

· If you have questions about where to park your trailer, please check in with our Caretaker, Doug Madsen. Doug will help you with where and how to park.

· Snowmobile trailers or flat trailers must have flagpoles that rise above the snow marking their location when empty.

· When leaving Uintalands, park your snowmobile on the trailer. Do not park your snowmobile next to your trailer. Last year, high snow depth made it impossible to spot flat trailers and snowmobiles parked on the ground.

· Uintalands will not be liable for loss or damage to any vehicle or other property or damage or injury to any person or for the prevention of ingress to or egress from the vehicle parking spaces caused by the use of the Winter parking spaces
