Main UL Gate Closed Monday and Tuesday

Uintalands main gate will be closed to all traffic Monday and Tuesday, July 28th and 29th for construction.

Use the Deadman Gate both days. The gate will be open for owners and vendors.

Directions: In Google maps, take Elizabeth Mountain Road to Uinta Drive and enter Uintalands. (Also known as North Slope Road to Deadman Creek)

Union Wireless has informed me that they will begin plowing in fiber optic conduit in Uintalands on Monday July 28th. They will begin at the motorized gate mid-morning Monday and proceed along Uinta Drive. Their equipment is quite large and will take up the entire roadway, thus the road from the gate to around Deer Lane will be closed to through traffic during the day Monday. Tuesday, they will continue along Uinta Drive toward the Caretakers Cabin. Uinta Drive from the caretakers cabin out to the main gate will be closed Tuesday, until they are past the intersection of Uinta and Aspen drive. By Tuesday afternoon, they should be past the caretakers cabin allowing for unimpeded access out the main gate. This section of road will be passable in the evenings and at night, but not during the day. Please contact me if you have any questions at 307-679-4140.
