Beulah Fire August 25, 2025 - Morning Update

BUELAH FIRE - CHRISTMAS MEADOWS, UT - Morning Briefing

Ongoing firefighting efforts throughout the incident focused on monitoring and strengthening firelines which create fuel starved barriers, including the use of natural ones, to contain the fire’s growth. Crews remain active along N Slope road, using masticators and clearing heavy fuels to create contingency lines.

Spotty rain showers kept fire behavior at a minimum again. Areas with high fuel loads (where dead and dry trees and plants provide lots of burnable material) continue to burn, but yesterday’s moisture helped to reduce growth and smoke.

Structure evaluation/protection efforts will remain ongoing in the Christmas Meadows area, Hinkley Scout Camp, Carter Creek Air Force Camp, Mill Creek Guard Station, Fish Lake Cabins, and the historic Tie Hack cabins. Crews are also conducting assessments in the Uintalands and Manorlands communities to ensure that values at risk are identified.
