Summit County has now lifted Stage 2 Fire Restrictions. Uintalands fire and Gun Range restrictions are now lifted. For fires, they are allowed only in approved Fire Pits and must have a hose with running water nearby. You may use the Gun Range.

Statewide Level 1 and Level 2 fire restrictions were lifted as of Friday, September 4, but local fire district rules remain active in several areas.
· Level 1 restrictions remain active within the boundaries of Park City Fire District and North Summit Fire Service District. That means: open fires are permitted only in approved, permanent fire pits, and cutting, welding, and grinding are strictly prohibited.
· Local fire restrictions have been lifted for South Summit Fire District.
· No burn permits are currently being issued at the request of all three fire districts. Even with encouraging forecasts and easing fire restrictions, fire safety remains a top priority.
