After a several months’ long search and thorough vetting of the candidates, we’ve found our next Business Manager! This is the person who helps manage our financial matters with the bank, our database of owners, along with dues collection, contracts, and emails, among other things. Her name is Stephanie Avila, who comes with amazing credentials.
Stephanie helps manage her own business and has several years of experience in business management and accounting. She also holds a Ph.D. from USU. She is excited to bring her enthusiasm, fresh perspective, and know-how to our HOA part time beginning October 1 when she begins mentoring with our current business manager, Brian Stecklein. While she is not a Uintalands owner, she is familiar with our association and has visited many times.
Brian Oldham, our board Vice President, led the interview and selection process. He says “Stephanie stood out for her extensive education, work experience, willingness to embrace AI, and flexible schedule which will accommodate our association needs.” Brian also mentioned he was grateful for the assistance and diversity of perspectives he received from the other three members of the selection committee.
We’re grateful for Brian Stecklein’s many years of dedication and expertise as business manager and, before that, as a board member. He is, and will continue to be, a Uintalands owner.
