Guest Network Disclaimer
Uintalands and Starlink offer limited public internet access to Uintalands owners & guests. Owners & Guests must adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which can be modified at any time. Using the network after modifications implies acceptance.
General Conduct: The network must be used lawfully and for its intended purpose. Owners & Guests are prohibited from violating the AUP or assisting others in doing so. Large downloads like movies or music are not allowed.
Monitoring, Terminating, and Blocking: Uintalands can monitor, screen, and view any use of the network. Owners & Guests have no expectation of privacy. Uintalands may block, limit, or terminate activities that infringe on copyrights or other rights. Repeat infringers will have their access terminated.
Responsibility for Content: Uintalands is not responsible for any material created or accessible through the network. They are not obligated to monitor or control such materials.
Inappropriate Content: Owners & Guests must not use the network to transmit, distribute, or store inappropriate materials, including those that are indecent, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, abusive, hateful, excessively violent, or harmful. Fraudulent offers and false data submissions are also prohibited.
Intellectual Property: Materials accessible through the network may be protected by intellectual property rights. Owners & Guests must not use the network in ways that infringe on these rights.
Email and Unsolicited Messages: Owners & Guests must not use the network to send unsolicited email messages (spam) or emails intended to harass or annoy others. Forged email headers and malicious emails are prohibited.
System and Network Security: Owners & Guests are prohibited from violating the security of the network, including unauthorized access, impersonation, probing, scanning, testing vulnerabilities, disrupting services, forging headers, and obtaining unauthorized services.
Suspension, Termination: Owners & Guests who violate the AUP may have their service suspended or terminated without notice. Violations may result in civil or criminal liability. Uintalands may cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting violators.
